Victory 41, a development of the legendary Van de Stadt Victory 40/Trintella IV. This specific vessel is a "100:100" motorsailer: it offers a powerful rig on a traditional long-keeled hull, paired with a near-indestructible diesel engine.
✨ Key Highlights:
Unique Sloop Rig: Unlike the typical ketch-rigged Victory 40s, this is the only Victory 41 sloop-rigged (approved by Van de Stadt Design). Easier to handle and very capable.
Built to Last: Solid GRP hull (moulded by Tyler Boats in Tonbridge, Kent) with sound teak decks and a substantial stern arch.
Power: Equipped with a 5.9L Ford Dorset 100hp diesel with Mermaid marinisation. Fuel tank capacity is 100 gallons. Three bladed fixed propeller.
Off-Grid Ready: Massive 400W solar panel setup supplies all the power you need, supplemented by a 300W Rutland wind generator and engine alternator.
Rigging: S/S standing rigging replaced in 2019. Crusader mainsail, Arun Sails roller genoa & Furlex 300. 2 extra sails (smaller genoa, small asymmetric spinnaker).
Winches: 2 x Barlow 28, 2 x Barlow 26, 4 x Barlow 19 on mast, Lewmar 22 mainsheet winch, Vetus electric drum winch.
Navigation Equipment and instruments: Radar Koden MD3604 CRT type. GPS Garmin 152 and Garmin 128. NASA Clipper instruments. Chartplotters: Raymarine RC631 10" colour plotter in wheelhouse, networked to Raymarine RL70C 7" colour plotter at chart table. VHF radio NASA SX35 with DSC, also Sailor R144B, and Simrad RT64 radios. SSB transceiver. Sailor marine HF receiver. Navtex NASA.
Galley & Comfort: Taylors 040 4-burner cooker/oven, Engels front-opening fridge, and hot water radiators fed by a diesel heater for year-round comfort.
Extras: EPIRB. A rigid dinghy. 45 lb CQR with 150 ft chain (new chain 2015), also 25 lb and 35 lb CQRs, and 35 lb FOB and Lofrans electric windlass. Water tanks 2 x 75 gallons. Autopilot Cetrek 701. Hot water radiators fed by diesel water heater.
⚓ Condition & History: I am the second owner of this yacht in 40 years (have had it for 10 years). She is a great boat due to the care she has always received. She is currently ashore and ready for inspection. I am selling due to a move abroad ☹️
The teak decks are sound; the cockpit/wheelhouse wood coating is flaking and would benefit from a light refresh, but the underlying structure is solid.
