    1. About boatmarket24.com

    boatmarket24.com is a free online marketplace operated by Samuel Weber, Zürich, Switzerland (“the platform”, “we”, “us”).

    The platform connects private buyers and sellers of boats and yachts. boatmarket24.com is not a broker, dealer or agent and is not party to any transaction between users.

    2. Acceptance of Terms

    By registering an account or using boatmarket24.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

    We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

    3. Eligibility

    To use boatmarket24.com you must:

    • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
    • Not be prohibited from using the platform under applicable law

    4. Listings

    4.1 Free listings

    Creating a listing on boatmarket24.com is free of charge. We do not charge commission on sales.

    4.2 Seller responsibilities

    As a seller, you agree that:

    • You are the legal owner of the boat or authorised to sell it
    • All information in your listing is accurate, complete and not misleading
    • Your listing does not violate any applicable laws
    • You will respond to enquiries in a timely and honest manner
    • You will remove your listing promptly when the boat is sold

    4.3 Prohibited listings

    The following are not permitted on boatmarket24.com:

    • Boats that are stolen or subject to outstanding finance
    • Listings with false, misleading or fraudulent information
    • Duplicate listings for the same vessel
    • Listings for items other than boats and directly related marine equipment
    • Listings that violate intellectual property rights

    4.4 Removal of listings

    We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these terms, without notice and without liability.

    5. Buyer Responsibilities

    As a buyer, you acknowledge that:

    • boatmarket24.com does not verify the accuracy of listing content
    • You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before purchase
    • A professional marine survey is strongly recommended before any purchase
    • You verify the seller’s legal ownership and the boat’s VAT status before completing any transaction
    • All transactions are conducted directly between buyer and seller

    6. No Commission, No Fees

    boatmarket24.com does not charge any commission or transaction fees. All financial arrangements are made directly between buyer and seller. We have no involvement in and accept no responsibility for any financial transaction between users.

    7. User Accounts

    7.1 Registration

    You may be required to create an account to post listings or contact sellers. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.

    7.2 Account security

    You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

    7.3 Account termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All original content on boatmarket24.com – including the website design, logo, and editorial content – is the property of Samuel Weber and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use this content without prior written permission.

    User-submitted listing content remains the intellectual property of the user. By submitting a listing, you grant boatmarket24.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote your listing content on the platform and on associated social media channels.

    9. Social Media Promotion

    With your consent (requested at the time of listing), boatmarket24.com may share your listing on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and others) to increase its visibility. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at contact@boatmarket24.com.

    10. Disclaimer of Warranties

    boatmarket24.com is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

    • The platform will be available at all times without interruption
    • Listing content is accurate, complete or up to date
    • Any transaction completed via the platform will be free of disputes

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, boatmarket24.com and its operator accept no liability for:

    • Any loss or damage arising from transactions between users
    • Inaccurate or misleading listing content
    • Loss of data or interruption of service
    • Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages

    13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
